뉴욕증권거래소(NYSE: New York Stock Exchange)

세계 최대의 증권거래소로 1817년 발족했다. 현재 2800여개 상장사의 시가 총액은 전세계 1위이며 포드, GM, JP모건, 보잉, 쿠팡 등이 상장돼 있다.

나스닥

미국 뉴욕 증권거래소와는 또 다른 별개의 증권거래소. 1971년 창립되었으며 주로 벤처기업들이 자금을 조달하기 쉬운 체계를 갖추고 있다. 이 때문에 기술 중심의 기업들이 많이 상장해 있다. 현재 시가 총액은 세계 2위이다.  마이크로소프트, 인텔, 구글, 애플은 나스닥에 상장돼 있다.

Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida met in New York Wednesday and agreed on the need to improve relations between the two countries by resolving pending issues, the presidential office said.

윤석열 대통령과 후미오 키시다 일본 수상이 수요일 뉴욕에서 만나 여러 현안들을 해결함으로써 양국 간의 관계 개선이 필요하다는 데 동의했다고 대통령실에서 밝혔다. 

The Korean won to U.S. dollar exchange rate soared above the 1,400 level for the first time in more than 13 years on Thursday in the wake of the U.S. Federal Reserve's overnight hike of its key interest rate by 75 basis points for the third straight time.

President Yoon Suk-yeol failed to pay his respects properly to British Queen Elizabeth II, who was lying in state at Westminster Hall in London, on the day of his arrival there. Yoon missing viewing the coffin on his first day in London has made him vulnerable 

to criticism by the main opposition Democratic Party of Korea (DPK), which called it a "diplomatic disaster."

윤석열 대통령이 영국 도착 당일, 웨스트민스터 사원에 안장돼 있는 영국 엘리자베스 2세 여왕에 대한 조문에 실패했다. 윤 대통령의 영국 방문 첫날, 그가 여왕의 관을 보는 것을 놓친 것은 이를 "외교적 재난"이라고 부른 야당인 민주당으로부터의 비난에 그를 취약하게 만들었다. 

Speaking of video footage of the president using swear words to refer apparently to the U.S. Congress, Park Hong-Keun, the DPK's floor lear, called it a "slanderous diplomatic accident that seriously tarnished national dignity." It is unclear what specifically Yoon was talking about when he said, "How embarrassing would it be for Biden, if those 'sekkideul' (which can be translated as "those bastards") in the Congress did not approve it?"

명백히 미 의회를 언급한 욕설이 담긴 대통령의 영상에 대해 박홍근 민주당 원내대표는 "심각하게 국가의 품격을 더럽힌 외교적 사건"이라고 언급했다. 윤대통령이 "만일 그 새끼들(영어로는 "those bastards"라고 번역될 수 있음)이 의회에서 승인을 안 해주면, 바이든이 얼마나 창피하겠어?"라고 말했을 때 윤대통령이 정확히 무엇을 말했는지는 명확하지가 않다.
